I like to take ordinary everyday items and make them into one of a kind conversation pieces. I did a clock like this a while back and I forgot to take the before picture but it looked something like this.

This was just an inexpensive wall clock that I found at Hobby Lobby. I added some copper paint and a favorite quote that I thought was appropriate with rub on letters ( because a year ago I wasn't confident enough about my lettering) Today I would do the writing myself but if rub on letters make you feel more comfortable then go for it. Next I added some painted chipboard circles and buttons and presto a one of a kind modern wall clock with personality.
