My Clear Cube is here and I am totally thrilled with it. In fact, I was so excited when I unpacked it that I couldn't wait and took these first pictures of it at night with less than ideal lighting.
I was so anxious to start filling it up but I wanted to be able to share some images of it before I put anything in it so you could see what it looks like when it is empty.
My acrylic wonder arrived in less than a week and it was extremely well packaged.
It came with both H and X inserts to help keep the smaller items from moving around in the drawers.
So where did I put my Clear Cube you ask?
Well, let me say that there are some upsides to being an empty nester, like taking over your daughter's old bedroom for your make up area.
We are getting ready for a pretty major remodel on the second floor of our home that will include the master bed and bath room. Since we won't be able to use that room at all for a month or two I figured I would get a head start by moving some of my things out of the bathroom now. Not only does this room with its four windows have much better lighting but it also feels so much more spacious than our vanity area. I think I'm going to like it here.
Plus, the beauty of having things in the Clear Cube is that when the kids are home and using this room I just pick up the cube and I am able to easily move my cosmetics back into our bath for a few days.
Now that I have it filled, I love how easy it is to see everything at once and to have all of my make up within reach and in one spot.
Isn't it just so pretty?
I figure that I must be a true organizational geek because I spent the better part of my Saturday figuring out how and where I wanted to put the drawer dividers, going through and editing and throwing out expired make up, and then finally putting everything in its place - but I loved every minute of it. Crazy, right?
The only problem is that since it arrived I have been to Ulta twice. I need to stop or I'm going to need a second one. LOL.
