I started my blog almost two years ago. Well, let me clarify that. I did write my first blog entry two years ago next month but then I went like six months before I wrote the next one. So I kind of feel like celebrating my blogging b-days in the summer. It was just recently that I figured out these McLinky Parties so I went to a few and guess what? I was featured! Seriously? Check me out here and here. You could have knocked me down with a feather.
My blog hits were averaging a measly 60-75 per day and today I am over 300 already and I owe it all to these ladies. When I saw pictures of my things on their blogs I was almost in disbelief but now that it has registered with me I feel kind of "busy and important" as they say at my daughter's office. Just kidding, but after more than a year it is kind of nice to feel a bit validated. So forgive me for tooting my own horn but sometimes a girl just has to let loose. Thank you to both of these sites. I hope you will visit them to see all of the fabulousness they both have to offer. Now I have to get some more stuff painted because I have always taken after pictures of my creations but except for my studio and that dresser i don't have any before shots. From here on you can bet I will make THAT extra effort.
