Oh how you have motivated me.
My Scrapbook Life reminded me of how even the most mundane items can be brought to life with a little TLC and some rub ons. Lordy I love rub ons.
While Pink Postcard has me inspired to throw a Wine Tasting Party.
If you've been here before then you know how I love an unorthodox paint update to an old or ordinary piece of furniture. This one from House To Your Home stole my heart.
So what have I been doing?
I can't believe I haven't posted since last Monday but life has been crazy busy.
I have a show this weekend.
One of the things I made this week were some tree toppers.
The picture isn't the greatest.
There will be more and better images soon.
I promise.
They are pretty on a full size tree but I took this picture on a small table top tree and I kind of liked the effect. With the long holiday streamers it was all this small tree needed. Voila! Easy instant decor. Gotta love that.
The other thing I did was some shopping.
A lot of it.
I spent three days in downtown Chicago.
Yes, right on Michigan Avenue and the big guy had all day meetings.
Dangerous.
I can't show you everything.
Mr. Rosie occasionally reads this blog.
:)
Let's just say I stopped by Lucy.
This was one of my finds.
So comfortable and how I dress.
I had never been there before but thanks to my daughter, I am totally hip and up to date on the latest and greatest.
I also made two stops by Saks for sunglasses.
I have a sunglass fetish.
Dior calls them cat eyes.
I just thought they were so Mad Men.
Love them.
Alas, those three days have thrown me even further behind so it might be a quiet week here at beColorful but hang in there.
This time next week the show will be behind me and I will have so much to show you.
xoxo,
P
