Chalk up another project in the completed column.
Or so I thought.
I recently dressed up this vanity chair for a client.
When it arrived here in my studio it looked like this.
I almost forgot to take the before picture but here goes the primer coat.
I have done this hydrangea pattern a number of times and this client liked it on another piece of mine so I incorporated that design into the back but thought a vanity chair needed something a bit more glamorous to sass it up a bit.
Leopard print goes with everything so I thought it would be the perfect compliment for the red floral pattern.
To pull the two looks together, I striped the back of the chair combining the two concepts.
Now that I look at the photos, I wonder if I need some black and white stripes around those braces and a bit more gold striping down the front of the legs.
Hmmm. I just can't seem to ever be satisfied.
