Thank you for stopping by this week's Motivated Monday here at BeColorful
These are some of the highlights from last week's Linky Party.
First up is this outstanding winter themed mantel

Using something out of the ordinary for your mantel is such a great way to make that wow statement that will definitely get noticed. Repeating it by using three of the same thing takes it to a whole new level.
Love it.
has been busy too. This over sized damask pattern on her stained top table also has that dramatic, take note flair.
Every room should have one piece that is a stand out. She sure has one here.
Elf On A Shelf is, as you know, is the latest Christmas rage for the under ten demographic ( and their parents too)
In fact, I'm not sure who has more fun with this little guy - the kids or the grown ups.
shared with us some of her favorite memories of some of their elf's mischieviousness.
If you have little ones or grand children then this is a post you won't want to miss.

Looking for something new in the way of a wreath?
Then be sure and check out this wreath made of scarves over at
That textured element really makes it unique.
Another idea for the holidays was shared by
A
Her post shares with us this oh-so-clever idea of transferring a coloring book drawing using transfer paper and an iron onto a plain white tee shirt. Using the washable markers to color in the design the kids can color it, wear it, wash it and repeat.
What a great gift idea!
Another great gift idea, or something you could make for your own home is this birch bark painted vase

Isn't that pretty? and so simple to do too.
I could see this all year round. It is lovely and sophisticated even empty but it would be so striking filled with fall leaves, winter branches, or spring blossoms. Stop by her blog for all of the how-to info.
