Welcome to the Holiday Highlights LInky Party here at BeColorful.
Today it is all about dining rooms and how to add a bit of holiday flair and fun in new ways or updated versions of some tried and true ideas.
Obviously, you will want some sort of centerpiece on the table.
I think this concept of tiered colorful Christmas trees and toppers makes a terrific statement and would be sure to garner some attention.
Living and Dining Decoration
Another great centerpiece can be found at
Good Life Design using candlesticks and vibrant ornaments.
You can also bring interest to each place setting with a simple wrapped gift on each dinner plate. The all white tablescape is stunning and elegant. I like how the silverware is resting on the plates. Little touches make such style statements.
If your dining room is small your decor may be as simple as a centerpiece and a great view of your Tannenbaum in the distance

but if you do have room for a tree think of giving it that surprise treatment of unusual ornamentation. Silverware? Love it.
Here the dining room is a continuation of the living room's blues and greens theme.
Create your own tree by potting a twisty branch and embellishing it with ornaments in your color scheme.
Dressing up those windows is one way to dial up the festive vibe.
Decorated dining chairs are a bit unexpected and easy to do.
Angel wings seem to be growing in popularity. Are they the next big thing?
These on the chairs are a wonderfully whimsical touch.
Don't forget the chandelier. It is another great place to flaunt your festive side.
Are you concerned your dining room colors don't lend well to holiday decor? Not to worry. Christmas comes in every color these days.
House to Home
The color scheme for this transitional dining room works easily but sometimes it is harder to envision making modern elements feel homey for me. This image, though, proved to me that it can definitely be done.
What is probably a rather minimalist room the rest of the year appears very festive and welcoming with the pops of red and I love how she embellished those acrylic chairs with greenery and pillows. A tree, a kid's table, and packages and this room is oh so joyful.
