Welcome to this week's Motivated Monday at BeColorful.
Mike and I hosted a campaign kickoff this week here at home so I was busy tweaking a few things around the house in preparation for our little event.
One of the things I did to update the place didn't cost a thing. For years these lighted grape vines have hung above the breezeway windows.
I liked the soft glow they gave off at night but questioned if they looked a little 1996 during the day. They reminded me of a favorite Italian restaurant in Galena that has the whole grape vine theme going on. The thing is , their decor hasn't been updated in at least a dozen years. If I'm thinking it is time for that eatery to move on then it was obviously time for me to do so here too. Last week I finally made it happen.
I like how the quotes are so much more noticeable above the windows now.
It reads:
A Good Laugh Is Sunshine in the House
Let The Sun Shine In
So what did I do with those old grape lights?
I still like the light they give off so I recycled them.
Now they are draped through the tree and around Puck.
Gotta love a refresh that doesn't cost a thing.
But enough about me.
You are here to party.
Were you here last week? If not you missed some great projects - like this gorgeous cobalt blue door

She gave a head turning look to her entire front entry. Since my front door is bright yellow, you can guess that I am a sucker for colorful entries.
Be sure and stop by to check out her new curb appeal.
I love it.
shared her spruced up patio furniture.
Doesn't that look inviting? Give her a visit too for the full scoop on how she pulled this great look together.
And last but not least, I have seen these fun planter ideas but have never really thought about how to make one until I read all details shared by
I have a similar basket that I was going to Goodwill until I read this post. Sorry G.W. you may have to wait until next year.
