So glad you stopped by for another Motivated Monday. You may have noticed that I haven't had another post since last week's link event.
I haven't been totally slacking though. Actually I have created a second blog.
My posts here on BeColorful typically deal with things for the home like painted furniture projects, decor thoughts, and organizational ideas. That is what the readers here seem to expect and respond to.
I love writing about all the things home related but I am also fascinated with fashion, fitness, and shopping. So after giving this some real thought I decided to launch a second blog with an emphasis on fashion for the 50ish or nearly 50ish woman or for any woman with body issues, a lack of style direction, or an interest in what is trending and how to incorporate it into your wardrobe.
Many of the posts would be appropriate for women of any age but I think that this is a target audience that is often overlooked. I thought about using 40ish instead of 50ish in the title and maybe I should have avoided a number all together but I'm committed now and I hope you will stop by and visit me here.
Now on to what you came here for...
the highlights from last week's Motivated Monday.
First up was this budget minded pool blue and yellow porch update.

I swoon for those colors. Oh for pretty.
This next project appealed to that fashion side of me.

shared a post about creating a vintage necklace with items like these...
and turning them into something spectacular like this.
There were also a number of painted furniture posts this past week.

You will want to be sure and read her link up if you haven't done a lot of painted furniture projects, or even if you have, because she throws a lot of helpful hints our way. I know I learned a few new things.
